Streamed Live: YouTube Brad Field is a drummer and electronic musician based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. His setup harnesses two MIDI operated pipe organs, drum kit and triggered electronics to create a barrage of improvised beats, relentless rhythmic minimalism and glitchy polyphonic patterns. This unique performance configuration allows him to wrestle with acoustic and electronic textures, resulting in a visceral collision of breathy pipes, hip hop grooves and insistant krautrock trances.
For Darlo Drum Festival, Brad Field will be filming a special session of new material at the Star and Shadow Cinema, featuring projected visuals which are triggered and manipulated live by the drum kit. Links: YouTube channel |
