In this consciousness raising group we will honour the memory and legacy of bell hooks by reading Feminism is for Everybody: Passionate Politics. bell hooks defines feminism as “a movement to end sexism, sexist exploitation, and oppression”. The book (118 pages or 4.5hrs in audiobook format) will be divided into 4 sections which will be discussed on zoom across the four event dates. Join us as we explore and demystify feminism.
